MICALOCK is a high-quality formulation, ready-to-use white PVA emulsion adhesive that is ideal for general bonding applications and woodworking because of its exceptional bond strength. MICALOCK is a specifically developed product with exceptional flow characteristics, excellent coverage, and high bonding strength that is used to join wood, ply, veneer, MDF/particle board, and block/hard board to one another. The best outcomes are possible if there is at least one porous surface. It has a longer shelf life since it is fortified with unique preservatives that inhibit bacterial development while it is being stored.
MICALOCK offers excellent spreadability and can be applied using an SCBOND applicator, brush, roller, or even fingers. Follow these steps for best results:
Prepare the surfaces: Ensure both surfaces to be bonded are clean and free from dust, grease, or debris.
Since the product is ready to use, diluting it is not advised.
Apply the adhesive: Apply thin layer of MICALOCK on one or both surfaces, depending on the requirment. Ensure uniform coverage within 5-7 minutes.
Join and press: Bring the surfaces together and apply firm pressure using clamps, nails, or wooden support until the adhesive fully sets.
Clean excess glue: Wipe off any adhesive that oozes out with a damp cloth for a neat finish.
